There could come a point in the life of a leader when they feel a need to connect to a bigger, nobler aim. You are doing well but want to do so much better… You want to do great things!
Do you sometimes feel dissatisfied, that there must be something “more”? Questions like, “Who am I? What am I meant to do with my life?” may seem too big to answer. But these questions do have answers, specific ones, and they are different for each person. You are unique, and you have a purpose.
Unfortunately, most people have “forgotten” this fundamental knowledge of themselves. In the absence of purpose, life becomes a meandering path of trial and error, joy and frustration. We lose touch with the part of us that knows, and deep fulfillment and joy come only in moments. Since this knowledge is buried deep within you, it can be discovered and retrieved. There is no point in going out into the world seeking your purpose; it is inside of you. Once you find it, you can use this knowledge to create a life of joy, fulfillment, and success. You are better at doing your purpose than you are at anything else!
What Is a Purpose?
As we use the term, a “purpose” is the “why” of a leader’s life. It is the meaning that underlies all of your activities. It answers the most fundamental questions, like:
Why am I here? Who am I meant to be? What am I meant to do?
These questions are often treated as imponderables, questions that defy answering. This is not so. For each person, these questions have a unique and specific answer. Knowing the answers to these questions can guide you to a life of vision, meaning, productivity, and success. Leaders who are clear about their purpose easily inspire others. They transform organizations and bring out the best in their subordinates. They lead people towards a compelling vision, creating extraordinary results along the way.
Finding your purpose is a journey of transformation. I am your guide through this transformative journey.
